Love and Music

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, been working a lot during Welcome Week for Bradley University. Good news is with the money from how long I've been working, I should be able to get a new pair of New Rock boots soon!

This shot was taken at the Edge Pool Party on Bradley campus. I basically worked setup and occasional roadie inbetween sets. The opening bands were all nice, but the headliner (whom I had never even friggin heard of before) was a complete ass and his sound engineer was horrible to work with. (within 5 minutes of the guy's set, the engineer told us our set-up sucked, we knew nothing, and that HE was running the soundboard, not us.) Feedback issues with the microphones didn't start until after he stepped in. Hmm.

Anyway. Back to this shot. I thought the couple up front were just being cuddly...turns out he was helping her with the digital SLR camera. I saw around 15 other people toting around cameras that day. It was a little strange, but I remember the first assignment for IM113 being all about photography and suddenly stuff started to make sense. Woot.

I'm thinking of setting up prices for photoshoots or photorequests or something. I dunno.
