This was originally supposed to go into A Ghost Book that I had heard about via tumblr, but not only did I end up procrastinating (and drawing my bf's birthday gift mostly), I had one of those dumb-arse epiphanies right about two weeks before the submission deadline. And I was sick. Which seems to always tell me that I shouldn't be working on items, but I do anyway.

I put this under mixed media because I decided to go with the concept of melding 2D and 3D together. I came back to the piece today and wrapped it up.

The "Ghost" part of the image...well, was supposed to be a hand coming out of the one body freezer, but I was having enough issues with it when I first started that I think without is much better. Plus, you'll end up seeing the ghost anyway by the new year. Give or take a month or so.

Thank you! I'm experimenting with stuff because I want to try to do a comic similar to this fashion. not sure where to go from here, but I like blending both 2D/3D.

It kinda reminds me of that movie, "A Scanner Darkly" in which they film the actors, then draw over them to give it a realistic cartoon look.

Oh yeah, it kinda does...I always thought they did the one paper filter in photoshop for the movie. Just felt a little trippy.
